Porous Burner Cracking

Basic construction

The burner consists of a cylindrical combustion chamber filled with high-temperature resistant porous material. By different porosity from the lower part of the chamber to the upper part, a special cooling system and minimum gas velocity the flame is stabilized in the porous mediuml and therefore prevents a flashback. The porous burner is supplied with a mixture of fuel gas, air and CFC. This porous burner is designed in order to maintain the gas mixture with a temperature of 1600°C, and high turbulence to achieve a destruction efficiency of 99,999 %.
